Concert for Ukraine Ambulance Charity

The Concert for the Ukraine Ambulance Charity in support of Medical Life Lines Ukraine took place at All Saints Church, East Sheen, this Saturday.

The picture shows the Concert Soloists Vedran Janjanin, Piano, and Tena Loncarevic, Soprano, after their stirring performances, either side of our intrepid ambulance driver, Alastair Grant,

They were accompanied by Aliya Aralbayeva, who set up Medical Life Lines Ukraine in Wimbledon, and gave a moving account of their work.

Vedran played Chopin’s Sonata no. 3 in B Minor, op 58 and accompanied Tena who sang a selection of Ukrainian, Croatian, French and Italian songs.

Also in the picture are The Revd Jonathan Haynes, Team Rector of the Parish of Mortlake with East Sheen, Fr Alex Barrow, Vicar of All Saints, and Basil Alter, an American Violinist studying for MMus at the Royal Academy of Music.

A truly international event in support of an excellent cause.
