Yet another ‘peaceful’ Sunday morning in Sheen destroyed by low flying aircraft into Heathrow.

From 5am the noise from aircraft has been incessant. If you watch them you can see that some aircraft are high and less audible. But many are lower and loud enough to wake you. Once you are awake you have no chance of a return to sleep.

If you send a complaint you will get a response – ‘Please be assured your complaint has been registered.’ And ignored.

You are likely to get one of several variants which are patently from AI generated Autumn, Summer, Noah or George (chosen here for their popularity to avoid any suggestion of discrimination).

Monthly?? The latest data is recorded at 3 April 2025. Like so much of the Heathrow information it is simply out of date.

The Council for the Independent Scrutiny of Heathrow Airport (CISHA) is a misnomer. The Chair is (or has been) Tracey Waltho, Director General, Housing and Planning at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. How can a government civil servant in a department whose objective is to increase use of Heathrow possibly be considered independent. LinkedIn (WHY??) states that CISHA is seeking a new Chair. The site to which you are directed cannot be found. The Head of Communication and Engagement Laura Keith has a LinkedIn website advertising her talents and showing a desert island. It speaks for itself.

Very little on line is up to date, least of all about noise. So we are faced with a lack of credible information and no reasonable response. One hesitates to call it lying BUT…. There is clearly no corporate or governmental desire to respect the health and welfare of West London residents.
