This is a wonderful community led initiative to bring some sparkle to the centre of East Sheen.

Festive lights will adorn the big London Plane tree at Milestone Green this Christmas. 

A community-led initiative, supported by East Sheen Village and Richmond Council, is aiming to raise £1,575 in just three weeks. Every pound donated will be match-funded by The Council and East Sheen Village so contributions go twice as far.

The funds will cover festive lights, permissions, professional installation, and tree surgeon costs to make sure everything is done safely. The lights will be reused year after year, bringing festive cheer to the heart of Sheen for many Christmases to come.

It’s a small project with a big impact and a chance to bring the community together and make Sheen shine bright this Christmas. 💚
