Thanks only to the pressure from people such as you. Well done. Our local MP never says anything useful to her constituents in her newsletter about this important hearing. She is not listening to us it seems on this issue. And it’s the biggest development in this constituency for years. We need a developments on this site but no one wants such a poorly provisioned overstuffed with expensive rabbit hutches, with no proper social housing and appealing low affordable housing.Very sad from an otherwise very active parliamentarian. The council are not there to support developers but to hold them to local and London policies. They don’t do so. Let’s hope this inquiry is the start of some good decision making.

Hi Richard –
What is a lovely thank you for Lisa and team! They do an amazing job and thoroughly deserve it.
Just so that you know – since it’s not always clear – the event is a massive community effort, spearheaded by the Hare & Hounds and East Sheen Business & Retail Association (ESBRA). ESBRA helps to fund and organise the activities, including a lot of the extra things you may have noticed – posters, props, Halloween characters, competitions, prizes, press releases, sponsors and promotion via East Sheen Village’s Instagram & Facebook pages. James Anderson really stepped up to help in extra ways this year.
Of course, the support and enthusiasm of the many, many local businesses who participate is vital.
The event gets bigger and better each year (so much so that the Lib Dems decided to show up unannounced and muscle into Milestone Green…) and it is amazing to see so many people out and about enjoying our lovely community and visiting businesses that they might not otherwise have been to.
Thank you for reporting on it!
Kind regards Jacquie Duncan

I can only post what I know about! And my efforts during the summer to engage more widely than with H&H came to nothing. As I have said before on here I am always willing to consider suggestions for postings and to have discussions about the use of the blog. To be fair to the LibDems (and I know they think I am not always fair!) I understand they had booked the Milestone Green slot six weeks ago.

Hi Richard
Of course you can only post what you know – I was merely helping you know a little more 🙂 It’s really not a problem.
As for the Lib Dems, that is overly fair of you. Other opinions may differ!
