If you lodge a complaint you might be lucky enough to get reports on noise but they are for 2024.
They tell us nothing about why it has been so much worse recently.

as we all know planes have been so much worse this year. A while ago I heard that they’ve been repairing one of the runways, so more flights over this area, less diversion to other routes.
May just be a rumour, but worth investigating – if you’re interested?
Also usual excuse of busier traffic during the holiday season – as if we didn’t know……
Sadly big business always wins……..

Yes they have been using that as an excuse but that does not explain why the aircraft are coming over so low.

It’s also rumoured (for what it’s worth) as there are more planes they have to land faster, to be out of the way for the next one. Being lower gives them a better angle to do this.

I think it’s just the Big Boys doing whatever they like to make more money. Happens all over the place unfortunately (inc my gym, now owned by Mike Ashley – no comment)
