Vine Road Development

One of the most interesting displays at the Community Bluescapes Fair at OSO on Saturday 20 June related to the plans for developing the area at Vine Road Recreation Ground. [Expand screen for detail.]

A planning application is to be made and there will be a public consultation. Meanwhile Community Bluescapes will be holding informal drop-in sessions at Vine Road Recreation Ground to share the updated plans and answer any questions from the community. These will take place on:

Saturday the 4th of July 10am -1pm

Sunday the 5th of July 1.30 – 4pm

Wednesday the 8th of July 6 – 7.30pm

The biodiversity gains of the plans make interesting reading. It would be good to see comparable analysis for the work at the woods on Palewell Common.
