A private company has raised the possibility of operating lightweight autonomous electric pods to connect Barnes and Hammersmith Stations. That is driverless.

It must be worth considering.

The not-for-profit Barnes and Hammersmith Electric Light Transit (BHELT) was established “to help explore, develop and promote the idea of pods operating across Hammersmith Bridge”.

TfL response? We have no such plans.
