The Collaboration Choir is launching six new pop choirs across South West London this Autumn – one of which is in East Sheen!
All six are led by new Choir Director Luke Sitaraman, a west Londoner. He’s a recent Oxford graduate with a first-class degree in music andhas sung as a Lay Clerk at Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford.
Raised on road-trip playlists that swung between Katy Perry and Rascal Flatts, his musical experience spans early music, jazz, new music and now, very firmly, pop! In his words: ‘I find the humour in everything I do, so expect plenty of laughing alongside the singing.’
New groups are starting in Wimbledon, Richmond, Putney, Kew, East Sheen and Hammersmith, and three of them meet during the day. So whether you’re free at 10.30am on a Tuesday or 8pm on a Thursday, there’s now a choir nearby. The groups welcome complete beginners alongside more experienced singers, and free trial sessions are available.
